Leslie Cronen

Managing Attorney

Leslie Cronen joined Trial Lawyers United after two decades of practicing personal injury and mass tort litigation with well-respected plaintiffs’ firms in Louisville, KY.

I have dedicated more than two decades to the practice of litigation, beginning my career in insurance defense, representing mainly doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice cases. Once I made the move to representing injured individuals, I never looked back.

I quickly developed a focus on mass torts and product liability, while continuing to also represent those catastrophically injured or wrongfully killed due to medical negligence. I approach each case with meticulous preparation and a fearless commitment to my clients, working to achieve meaningful results for those who have been harmed.

One of the most meaningful cases of my career involved representing coal miners in eastern Kentucky in cases against manufacturers of defective respirators. These miners relied on equipment that was supposed to protect them from coal dust exposure, but the products failed to perform as promised—leading to devastating health consequences for many. Helping secure justice for these clients and their families remains one of my proudest professional achievements. I have also successfully resolved numerous other product liability and pharmaceutical cases, holding manufacturers accountable for dangerous and defective products.

Beyond my practice, I am passionate about mentoring women in law and helping strengthen the next generation of attorneys. As a past President of the local Women Lawyers Association, I have worked to promote mentorship, collaboration, and recognition of women’s accomplishments in the legal field. I’ve also partnered with the Women’s Law Caucus at the Brandeis School of Law to mentor aspiring legal professionals; and since 2014, I have been an active member of Women En Mass, a national organization that brings together female attorneys dedicated to the collaboration and advancement in the field of mass torts and complex litigation.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Louisville in 1999 and my Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in 2002. I am licensed to practice in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Massachusetts, and North Carolina.

Among my professional honors, I hold an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and have been recognized as a Kentucky Super Lawyer each year since 2013, including as one of the Top 25 Women Lawyers in Kentucky in 2023 – 2025. I was also named to the Top 40 Under 40 list in 2012 and the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Kentucky in 2013, both by the National Trial Lawyers Association, and was included in the 2023 Marquis Who’s Who Biographical Registry.
